Founded in 2015 by Joseph Mwima, Keith Ashaba and John Masembe for the purpose of creating a resourceful and reliable company with the knowledge and expertise of party planning and coordinating special events.

Malembe has been a powerhouse in Kampala’s nightlife and entertainment scene for over 4 years and is the marketing mogul popularly known for promoting “The DJ Snap Off series” at Club Guvnor in Kampala every 3rd Friday of the month for the past four years, “The Johnnie Walker x Malembe Hospitality Tent” present at popular events like the Royal Ascot Goat Races and Blankets & Wine, a picnic-style daytime event.

Since establishing Malembe, the team has branched into many other lifestyle brands and areas including; Artiste management, experiential marketing and producing & managing events like the bi-annual “Malembe Block Party”, one of the fastest growing urban -cultural events in Kampala, “Sounds of Summer”, an annual concert that takes place in Rwanda’s capital city, Kigali.
